There
are numerous possibilities of fishing in fresh water : The Rance
upstream from Dinan on - on lakes - on the river Arguenon (30 km), which is damed up
at Pleven, forming a lake in a very nice setting - salmon-fishing
in the rapid and clear brooks of the near Normandy (60 km).
You need your own equipment, have to buy a local fishing card depending on the type of fishing intended and respect the closing-periods.
The Rance at Saint-Suliac is salt water and sea-domain; so fishing here is free. But you need your own equipment.
