About La Goëlette, bed and breakfast brittany

'La Goëlette' invites you to choose your accommodation in a typical breton house, placed in an idyllic and peaceful setting full of charm, in the heart of SAINT-SULIAC. The property has been a farm in former times, built in the seventeenth century. It has been renovated recently to a high standard, but conserving where possible, the original design of the building. This includes immense beams, stone walls, huge wood burning fireplaces, irregularly placed windows...

There are three comfortable rooms (including a family suite and gîte with kitchen) tastefully decorated, a living room, where breakfast is served, a small stone-walled garden with a Japanese styled corner and a covered barn, each with its corresponding furniture, which are all available for our guests. Tea, coffee ...can be served on demand, in the large living/sitting room, which is available for exclusive use of the guests. You will find there a library, revues, games. Admire the unique view on the steeple, especially when illuminated by night, from the court yard and the garden.

For dinner, self-caterers may make use of a BBQ under the barn , at the place where the former forge with its fireplace and chimney was used for shoeing horses. If, after a sunny day on the beaches of the EMERALD-Coast, or after some time of relaxation at a shady place in our garden, you are too tired for self-catering, there is a small choice of restaurants in SAINT-SULIAC (for exapmle a small but very cosy crêperie close by serving as well 'plats du jour' and sometimes fish) and in the close neighbor villages offering diverse menus .

Since 2004 we AGAIN have an excellent fish- and seafood restaurant in our village : LA FERME DU BOUCANIER

Should no restaurant in the village be open, we could eventually help out, peparing you a simple dinner.
