This residual forest (18000 acres), which nearly covered the whole peninsula 2000 years ago, is supposed to be the place of King Arthur's Round Table, his knights Lancelot and Perceval and the Magician Merlin.
Visit Merlin's Tomb, the "Centre de L'Imaginaire Arthurien" at the chateau of Comper, and make a far trip back in time into a magic world of druids, gnomes and fairies.
