Saint - Malo

First town , touristic center and fishing harbour of the Emerald-Coast . Situated at the mouth of the Rance-river face to Dinard - home of the writer Chateaubriant , the discoverer Cartier and of famous pirates.
The fortified town encircled by immens remparts fully occupies a peninsula, which is connected to the land only by a small stripe, the "sillon".
